You can buy brocades (handmade or machine-made) in shops, at the market or along road that offered by local people.

Going to the local market, you can buy traditional medicaments in separate items or buy packs of prescribed items. Sapa has a variety of medicinal plants, almost all of which are leading ingredients in a recipe of traditional medicine because they can only grow in this climate.

Vegetable in Sapa is also very fresh, clean and delicious with the unique taste.

MARKET

Sapa Market (Saturday is the busiest day)

Bac Ha Market (On Sunday in the town of Bac Ha) Items on sale include buffaloes, pigs, horses, and chickens. Tourists, however, usually buy handicrafts and local wine.

Can Cau Market (20km north of Bac Ha. This is one of Vietnam's most exotic open air markets. It is open on Saturdays)

Lung Phin Market (between Can Cau Market and Bac Ha, anout 12km from the town, it runs on Sundays)
