Tour itinerary:
Hanoi - Babe - Cao Bang - Lang Son - Hanoi
Day 1: Hanoi arrival

Warmly welcome at Noi Bai airport by our guide we then transfer you to hotel. For this day depending on your flight we will arrange a suitable city tour for you to get some first impressions of Hanoi - the capital. It can be the water puppet show, cyclo tour to the old trading quarter. Overnight in hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi - Babe (B,L,D)

Depart from hotel we will drive up and pass through the undulating terrain of tea plantation in Thai Nguyen City, we will make stop for a visit and break at the museum of Ethnology in Thai Nguyen town, keep moving through many other timeless villages liked to the road which is the main artery of trade between the Northeast region and the capital city. This is our first glimpse of rural Vietnam and sets the tone for the days head. Depends on traffic conditions, we will arrive in Babe lake about midday. After checking into homestay in Pac Ngoi village of the Tay people. Dinner and overnight in Babe.

Day 3: Babe lake - boasting , trekking, discovering the local people (B,L,D)

After breakfast we get transfer to the jetty. Here we will board our private boat for a cruise on the lake. Weather permitting we can have a swim in crystal clear waters. We get lunch served near the beautiful waterfall. Following lunch, we will have the opportunity to work off our feast with a three - hour trek to Dao village. This will enable us to witness how little the lives of the people in these remote areas have changed. Arriving back at the jetty. Dinner then free to learn about the local people. Overnight home stay.

Day 4: Babe - Cao Bang (B,L,D)

After breakfast check out Pac Ngoi village and Babe lakes we take about 2 hours to walk on the flat road through the National Park. Our driver meets and take you to Cao Bang. It is at Cao Bang that the H'Mong, Zao, Tho and Nung ethnic minority people live in harmony. We will arrive at Cao Bang. We will spend a little time sharing cultural experience with these people. After lunch we will visit Pac Po, Ho Chi Minh's hideout when he came back to Vietnam after 30 years of self imposed exile, and the place from where he organised his resistance army against the French. from there it is a 3 hours trek to a village of Nung minority people. Late afternoon, we drive back to Cao Bang. Have dinner and overnight in Cao Bang.

Day 5: Cao Bang - Ban Gioc waterfall – Cao Bang (B,L,D)

Take a scenic day trip north of Cao Bang to the beautiful ban Gioc waterfall on the Co Bang - Chinese border for a picnic lunch. The picturesque, cascading waterfall is 53 meters high and has an impressive span of 300 meters. The unique landscape includes limestone karst formations soaring from the verdant rice paddies of Tay , H'Mong and Dzao ethnic minority group. On the way back to Cao Bang explore the expansive 2,144 meter Nguom Ngao Cave to discover its brilliant stalactites. Overnight in the hotel in Trung Khanh.

Day 6: Cao Bang - Lang Son - Hanoi (B,L)

After breakfast we traverse Dong Khe and That Khe on our way to Lang Son on the Chinese border. This town has become a booming trading town since the normalization of relations between China and Vietnam in the early 1990's. After lunch we go to visit Nhi Thanh Cave , Tam Thanh Cave and Dong Kinh market, the biggest market in the area fully stocked with Chinese goods. The late afternoon trip back to Hanoi from Lang Son is along a morden 4 lane divided highway. Our adventure ends at Hanoi.
