| Pop singer and folk music singer Artist of Merit Hong Ngat have brought Vietnam two gold prizes at the ASEAN Golden Vocalist Festival held for the first time in Vietnam.

| Singer Hong Ngat honoured Gold Medal in Folk Music. | The prize presentation ceremony was held last Sunday at the Hoa Binh Theatre in Ho Chi Minh City.
Ngoc Anh won the gold prize for the song “Saving All My Love for You” while Hong Ngat persuated the jury board with a sweet voice in a folk song.
Together with Ngoc Anh, Nadia Fardilla from Malaysia was presented the gold medal and Rey also from Malaysia won the gold medal in folklore music.

| Ngoc Anh won medal in light music. | Dam Vinh Hung from Vietnam took two silver medals in the light and folk music. Another silver medal in the folk music was given to Nadia Fardilla from Malaysia.
The ASEAN Golden Vocalist Festival was held for the first time in Vietnam to tighten relationships among member countries.
The festival had the participation of singers from all ASEAN member countries as well as guests from China, the Republic of Korea and Bulgaria.
