Halong bay, the magnificent heritage with its 2000 islands rising from the emerald water of the Gulf of Tonkin. Ha Long is an excellent example of a Karst landscape created by a complex chain during millions of years of geological movement. The vegetation covered islands which are spread out over an area of 1,500 km. In 1910 a paddle steamer called the Emeraude cruises was offering unforgettable cruises in Halong Bay for visitors to what was then French Indochina. The Emeraude was part of a flotilla owned by the Roque family who had left Bordeaux in 1858 in search of adventure.Luxuriously designed cabin with 38 cabins (14 Superior cabins, 22 Deluxe cabin, 1 Paul Roque Suite, 1 Emeraude Suite) the over 100-aged cruise, Emeraude is offering an excellent service of cruising Halong Bay.

Itinerary in glance
Day 1: Hanoi - Ha Long city – Emeraude
Day 2: Emeraude – Ha Long city – Hanoi

Bus will pick you up at your hotel, On the way to Halong city enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life. Arrive in Halong, check-in between 11h30 to 12h00 at Emeraude Café, Halong City
Enjoy a refreshing cocktail upon boarding. Buffet lunch in restaurant. After lunch, cruise among hundreds of islets to discover unspoilt pockets of Halong Bay with Emeraude. Visit Sung Sot Cave (Cave of Surprise). At sunset time, kayak or swim at Hang Trong anchorage. Then, onboard cooking demonstration. International buffet dinner in restaurant will be served. Watch a movie on the sundeck in the evening.

Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay on the sundeck. Energising western breakfast. Check out at 09h30 am at Emeraude Cafe, Halong city. Trip ends at 4:30 pm
