Sapais 1650 metres (5413 feet) above sea level and enjoys a cooler climate than most of Vietnam. It is only 9 km (5.6 miles) away from Mount Fansipan, Vietnam's highest point at 3143 metres (10311 feet).
Sapa is one of the most wonderful places in Asia and is a magical combination of landscapes, ethnic cultures and bracing mountain air. There are excellent areas for hiking through lush mountain valleys to the remote villages of different minorities, including the Black H'mong and the Red Dzao ... Bac Ha market is about 100 km far, the largest and most colourful marketin the area. Where you will know more about the traditional colourful market of the Flower HMong hill tribe. Every Sunday morning, many different ethnic groups such as Flower H'mong, Phu La, Black Dao, Tay and Nung minorities gather to buy and sell local products that cannot be found elsewhere.

Itinerary in glance:
Night 1: Night train to Lao Cai Station.
Day 1: Lao Cai Station – Bac Ha market – Sapa.
Day 2: Sapa – Cat Cat – Sin Chai village – Lao Cai Station – Overnight train back to Hanoi.

Day 2: Lao Cai Station – Bac Ha Market – SapaTown (B, L , D).
Arrive in Lao Cai Station do a little bit morning exercise, feel ready for our trip. Our guide with the board under your name welcome you and pick you up at Lao Cai station. On the way we will stop for breakfast and then transfer to Bac Ha Market ( 75km from Lao Cai station). The landscape is attractive and the ethnic markets are a fascinating experience. Unlike those in the tourist areas, the markets that we choose are for not only buying and selling, but also meeting places for ethnic minority people to meet and exchange news. There will be plenty of colour and authentic costumes, but very little to buy as souvenirs unless you want to barter for a water buffalo or a sack of fertiliser. After having picnic lunch time for you to discover ethnic markets. The way they buy and sell and you can try your ability to bargain. About 2pm transfer to Sapa Town, a small town perched on the mountainside opposite Mt. Fansipan, Vietnam’s highest peak for your overnight stay.

Day 3: Sapa – Cat Cat – Sin Chai village – Lao Cai Station (B, L).
Breakfast will be ready to served at 7am. You will check out and leave your luggage in the hotel then get yourself ready before heading down around 8km to visit Cat Cat and Sin Chai village of the Black Hmong picnic lunch at a waterfall. This is a chance to see the hydroelectric power station established by the French people. Back to Sapa and relax. Dinner is for your choice and then get fresh with a shower in the hotel’s day room then transfer to Lao Cai Station for overnight train back to Hanoi.

Day 4: Arrive back to Hanoi:
You will arrive in Hanoi Station at around 5h30. Our tour finishes.

All meals which are indicated in the itinerary, are included in the price of this trip. Picnic lunch would be prepared by a local restaurant. The emphasis will be on healthy and nutritious fresh local produce. Please inform us if you have any special dietary requirement.
The transfers In Hanoi, Our guide will accompany you to the train to show you your cabin and tell you how to deal with night train traveling in Vietnam. In Lao Cai, our guide will meet you at Lao Cai Railway Station in the morning of the first day. He also sees you off at Lao Cai Railway Station on the third day. When you get back to Hanoi on day 4, you can easily find a taxi to get to your hotel
