Halong bay, the magnificent heritage with its 2000 islands rising from the emerald water of the Gulf of Tonkin. Ha Long is an excellent example of a Karst landscape created by a complex chain during millions of years of geological movement. Let us take you back in time on a fascinating relaxing journey along the Red River Delta to the World Heritage Site, the Halong Bay with our Phoenix cruiser, a wooden junk based on the model of the old Vietnamese court vessels with sails, a wide transom and rectangular superstructure, luxurious, traditional styling paired with sophisticated modern facilities and comforts! The boat boasts romantic wooden fixtures, a multitude of windows to make the most of the amazing views, and a spectacular upper deck for your total relaxation to sightsee the emerging rocks of Halong Bay and its natural attractions.

Day 2: Halong Phoenix Cruiser – Gia Luan Dock – Thien Long Cave – Cat Ba Town

Day 3: Cat Ba Town - Halong Phoenix Cruiser – Halong Bay – Hanoi.

Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Halong Phoenix Cruiser. (L, D).

South Pacific Travel’s bus and guide will pick you up at your hotel, On the way to Halong city enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life. Arrive in Halong board Halong Phoenix Cruiser. Lunch is served with a welcome drink while the boat cruises the bay to enjoy the beautiful limestone seascape with Fighting Cock, Dog and Incense Burner. After visiting Amazing cave we stop at a floating house and go kayaking to Luon cave to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the bay. Fresh fruit platter will be served followed by a dinner between 6h30 and 7h00 pm. Overnight on board.

Day 2: Halong Phoenix Cruiser – Gia Luan Dock – Thien Long Cave – Cat Ba Town  (B, L).

Sunrise breakfast is ready to serve at around 7h30 am. The boat will head for Cat Ba Island. From Gia Luan Dock, our bus will transfer you to a quiet countryside setting boasting several large Shrimp Farms. Here we will board a small boat to explore the mangrove canals, before arriving at the untouched Thien Long Cave. Then we will transfer you to a quiet, sheltered spot for lunch and time to relax or try your hand at fishing. The bus will return to Cat Ba town for check in at your hotel. In the afternoon you have free time to discover Cat Ba town or relax on the dreamy beaches. Dinner is for your choice, enjoy taste of Vietnamese cuisine for special or anywhere you wish for your favorite

Day 3: Cat Ba Town – Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L).

After breakfast our bus picks up for transit boat to Superior Phoenix Cruiser, keeping on cruising along another part of bay with arm – chair exploration of more beautiful limestone islands en route to the dock. Having lunch on board with a variety of local foods before back to Halong dock. Have a short break and then en route to Hanoi. Trip ends around 4h30 pm
