Your Vietnam vacation commence with…..

……..your arrival and a full day in Hanoi, charming northern capital. After checking in hotel rested after your journey, enjoy Welcome dinner with Vietnam traditional cuisine. And then have tickets for a performance of traditional Water Puppetry (an art form unique to northern Vietnam).

Meals: Breakfast, welcome dinner.

Activity: water puppet show.

Guide: airport pick up and following day.

Day 2-3 Mai Chau:

Drive through the mountains to Mai Chau Valley. This picturesque destination is off the beaten path, interact with the local people and gain amazing insight by staying with a hospitable hilltribe at their houses on stilts. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, enjoy a walk through the valley to learn more about the agriculture of the region or biking together through paddy field.

Meals: 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 2 dinners.

Activity: Trekking and biking.

Day 4 Cuc Phuong National Park:

Travel on a tiny road up into the mountains and arrive at Cuc Phuong National Park. The national contains the largest area of lowland primary forest in Vietnam and home to the Primate Rescue Centre, learn about the plight of the Cat Ba langur, Dalacour’s langur and other primates. There are trails to hike in the centre, short and enjoyable. Be prepared for Vietnamese style trail making.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Activity: visiting primate rescue centre, trekking.

Day 5 – 6 Halong Bay:

Spend the fantastic time cruising on board the luxurious Indochina Sails, one of the best wooden boats on the Bay. It’s a wooden junk based on the model of the old Vietnamese court vessels with two large sails, a wide transom and rectangular superstructure. The boat boasts romantic wooden fixtures, a multitude of windows to make the most of the amazing views, and a spectacular upper deck for your total relaxation to sightsee the emerging rocks of Halong Bay and its natural attractions. Enjoy kayaking, great way to see coastal fauna and flora. Your family member will love it, a day out on the water.

Meals: 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and dinner.

Activity: Tai Chi exercise, kayaking.

Breakfast and accommodation sharing a twin or double room.
Pick-ups and transfers by private air-conditioned vehicles as specified in the itinerary above (please note: pick-ups will be by a guide and driver or, where a guide is not necessary, a driver only. All unaccompanied drivers will be briefed in advance, and will carry a mobile phone to ensure smooth transfer arrangements)
Boat cruises if specified in the programme.
Travel in an appropriate private air-conditioned vehicle with an experienced safe driver.
The services of experienced English-speaking guides as indicated in the itinerary (please note: guides will be on hand from pick-up until guests’ return to their hotel or reach their destination). Free days or part days will not include the services of a guide unless requested and included in the final itinerary.
Where neccessary, entry fees for all visits as mentioned in the programme.
Lunches and dinners (if specified in the itinerary) in the best local restaurants, or picnics where no suitable restaurant is available.

Triple share is possible and must be requested at the time of booking. Please be clear whether a double bed, plus extra bed is required or whether three separate beds are preferred

Where separate rooms for children are booked, interconnecting or adjacent rooms will be requested (subject to availability).
